Senior Morning Coffee–We open our doors for adults, 55 and up, to have full use of the Library.  Patrons can use the computers, check out items, read the newspaper, and enjoy a cup of coffee and a cookie.

Classic Book Club– Join us as we read and share our thoughts about Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert

Wednesday, November 25th, Closing at 4:00 p.m.

We will be closing at 4:00 p.m. for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Take a Wednesday Walk!  Adults, age 50 and over, are invited to join the staff of Bayne Memorial Library, Avalon Public Library, and the YMCA Community Center to take a walk around our neighborhood.  The walk begins at the YMCA Community Center at the corner of California and Home Avenues in Avalon.

Tree Trimming–This year we will be trimming our tree with origami!  So stop by the desk for patterns and paper and help us decorate.

Baby Lap Sit—geared to babies, birth to 18 months, this storytime is for the youngest of patrons.  We will sing, clap, bounce, and listen to stories to start kids on the right path to reading.

Friday Classic Movie Matinee—Come check out one of our classic holiday films!

Saturday, December 5th, 11:00 a.m.
